How to Avoid Problems on Election Day

Tomorrow is Election Day!
Here are a few tips and facts that you should know
that will help make your Election Day go smoothly.

Polling times. Polls open statewide at 6:00AM and close at 8:00PM this Saturday, October 20, 2007.

Polling places. If you are not certain where you go within your precinct to cast your vote, you can contact the Office of the Registrar of Voters within your parish to get this information. If you need the number, you can click here for the statewide list provided by the Secretary of State.

Problems voting / voting irregularities. If you have any problems getting access to the polls or if you see some activity that appears to be improper, please notify elections officials by calling the voter hotline at 800-883-2805. People will be available during voting hours to assist you.
