Percy Marchand

Percy J. Marchand is the only candidate in the House District 95 race who has stepped out of the box and taken a new and effective approach to Ethics Reform.

“What we need right now is true leadership, not robotic leadership,” Marchand says responding to candidates signing on to pre-packaged ethics reform packages.

Corruption and a lack of results have everyone screaming for ethics reform. Undoubtedly, there is a need for honest, moral, and true leadership throughout our state and country.

Marchand says he is 100% in favor of true, effective ethics reform. However, he says, “the currently proposed legislation simply tears down the unethical behavior's front yard fence while building an even higher backyard fence."

That stated, Marchand has analyzed the major goals of currently proposed ethical reform while offering a bold, comprehensive, independent ethics reform agenda. (See attached)

Marchand has received the endorsements of the AFL-CIO, LELA, IDEA, and the OPDEC.

I am educating residents of all sides of the issues.

As a leader:

I am against “reforms” that are popular, but ineffective.

As a leader:

I am proposing legislation which is realistic, unbiased,
and, most importantly, effective.”
