Is it really our Community Leaders failing us or is it our self that do not have the get up and go to build our community. I have speak to many people and listen as they rebuild of their home and who all part of the rebuild process and it sound like what I came save from the fund from the insurance or the governments. By listen to the stories and sound like it is many first timer who have never on a home or experience with someone that did had a home. Many are female with know Strong male to guy them on the rebuild and them the male that unskilled the knowledge of building his home. This came come from the up come in the home as a child. I'm 47 years old rise in a home without a father but a mother that had a low education with a skill to build a home. She know how to use tools that was pass down by her father replace window glass, board that support upper frame, and paint brushes to keep the beauty on the wall. We did not on a home but the landlord was a person that would gave the supply to my mother and she will teach us the proper way to apply paints, hammer board, and other things that need to fix the house to keep us warm in the winter and cool and the summer. I have a cousin who is a female and she came out do her male friend because of her up come in a home that had to be maintain by her family. She said that her friend was rise in the house provide by the governments and without a male figure in the home and the governments taking care of their home what took away the skill of rebuilding his home. By the governments control is what took the skill of many our black male skill those both rise in home belong to other one said do yourself and the other said we do it for you. I hear the stories just about every day because I home at a do it yourself home repair store and listen to many of our black male they came a home that know father their and know skill mother to help take care of the the home. We need to get a program developer that education our black male of tools they need to rebuild their home.
