Gentilly Streetscape Community Open House

GENTILLY STREETSCAPE COMMUNITY OPEN HOUSE


The City of New Orleans and MWH would like to invite citizens to a community open house to view the schematic design for the upcoming streetscape enhancement project on Elysian Field Avenue from Foy Street to St. Aloysius/Stephen Girard Street; Gentilly Boulevard from Pauger Street to Elysian Fields Avenue; and Caton Street from Norman Meyer Avenue to Elysian Fields Avenue. The project, which has a construction budget of approximately $500,000, is funded by the Community Development Block Grant Program.


Based on input received at the December 9, 2008 community meeting, Three Fold Consultants, the design firm hired by the City of New Orleans, developed the schematic design. At this community open house, residents will have the opportunity to view the schematic design and see how the community prioritized specific amenities available as part of the streetscape enhancement project.

There will be a five-minute presentation given by representatives from Three Fold Consultants at 6:30 p.m.
